Now Olya is mad at me because she thinks I blame her for Wordpress eating my post.

Blah

The post wasn’t all that good to begin with, but I do get annoyed when technology bites me in the butt.

Olya says I should just “deal with it, without taking it out on her“.
Well I am dealing with it, I am being ANNOYED, and grumbling but on the inside (sort of a non verbal grumble, but not quiet enough for Olya)

Personally I thnk it has to do with Xavier being more quiet with me and more whinny with her.

See if I have the baby or am staying home with the baby and or Olya, then the baby is usually quiet.
But when I leave, Xavier gets very demanding and wants the boob all the time, and takes his time with the boob (not that I blame him, that is definatly the approach I would take, not that I am coaching him, he is too young, but that is probaly the approach that I will take when te time comes).

On a new note, there is no longer a “New” Category, so I doubt anyone will even see this post, as I have no idea how it will spam anyone.

oh well back to work.

Thank God it’s Monday

So glad it’s Monday.

The boys (Damien & Sergey) are at daycare and now the parents outnumber the children (currently only Xavier) and there is much relaxation in the air.

Had to take Xavier into his first doctor appointment.
We arrived fashionably late, but the Doc was also running behind, so the time was very good.
Xavier looks good and was given his first Hep B shot.

At first he was not sure how to react to the needle enterin his leg, but he quickly figured it out and cried.
Either Xavier is very tough, or just tired of crying, because he recoverd very quickly.

I am looking forward to picking up the boys from school (day care) and taking them to the swings.

Got to go put a second stroller together.

Bye

Sleeping with Mommy

Big thanks to Mom, for watching the boys while we got our third.

Could be Tonight

Could be Tonight we have the kid, could be in a few hours actually.

Non Arrival

Well I was hopping for baby #3 to arrive before the due date of August 20th.

I even confided to Olya that I was hoping to “win” my prediction that the third baby would be before the due date, as I theorized that the babies were coming quicker and quicker. Who knows, perhaps if we have enough kids, we could have a baby shortly after conception.

How ever Olya dashed my dreams by informing me that there was less than 40 minuets of August 19th left, and that it was not going to happen.

So I told her she just wasn’t trying enough, but she did’t like that for some reason?
Women?

But later that night (well into August 20th territory) there was much dancing in the womb, and general tummy twitching. So I thought this would be the night. I was unable to get to sleep in antisipation (and Olya was snoring, like an elephant but I digress), so I was not able to get much sleep.

False alarm, baby was just was just doing some disco + kung fu + gymnastics (must ahve caught olympic fever), but decided that it was happy where it was.

Since I worked late the night before I decided to go back to bed after I dropped the kids off at daycare, and come in late today rather than taking a short day on Friday when I may not be at work at all.

Stupid

I often do stupid things, for stupid reasons.
But it’s OK.
Because I do them to stupid people.

CHICKEN FETTUCCINE ALFREDO (editied)

I made changes of my changes, then left it marked as new so it would spam you all and make it look like I am writing a whole new post but really only modifying an old one, this is a programmer trick known as “code reuse”.

I am going to try CHICKEN FETTUCCINE ALFREDO tonight children willing, something along these lines.
I’ll let youknow how it goes.

Actually I post the recipies here just in case I lose them (has happened before).

ALFREDO SAUCE
3 Tbls. butter
3 Tbls. flour
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
1 c. Whole Milk

Melt butter in saucepan; add flour, wisk till smooth; slowly add milk wisk over heat until smooth; then add cheese (if you guessed wisk, you were correct). Cook over low heat, stirring (with a wisk) constantly. Do Not Boil. add to the rest of the non noodle items in a pan, then server over noodles.

CHICKEN FETTUCCINE ALFREDO

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. olive oil (I don’t like oliv oil with muchrooms, it causes the mushrooms to tast bitter)
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 3/4 inch cubes
1/2 c. chopped green onions with tops
2 cloves garlic, minced (I cheated and used 1/2 tps powdered garlic)

1 c. whipping cream (um yeah I didn’t use any)
1 pkg. McCormick Pasta Prima Alfredo Sauce (I made sause from scratch see above)
12 oz. fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced (again I cheated using pre cleaned and cut mushrooms)
15 oz. can tomatoes, drained and diced (used 2 fresh tomatoes)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp. dried basil (basil does not like me or Olya so I used Oregano)
1 lb. hot, cooked fettuccine
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese (already in sause)

Added the following
2 tsp. dried oregano.
1 tsp. dred sage.
2 fresh tomatoes diced.
1 vadalia onion diced.

Heat butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat, saute Onions and mushrooms.
Add chicken, green onion, sage, and garlic; saute until chicken is lightly browned. Stir in cream, sauce mix, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened. Stir in parsley and oregano. Remove from heat. Server over noodles, sprinkle with tomatoes (some grated motzeral wouldn’t hurt). Serves 6 to 8 (this was so good it only made 5 servings, because I stuffed myself).

End Result
Very yummy, Me and Olya liked it, and the kids tried it *gasp*.
They even asked for more *double gasp*.

Though Sergey refused to eat anything but noodles and sause (he even managed to seperate the sauted onions from the noodles), Damien liked everything but the chicken.

Maybe next time I’ll keep the suase seperate so the kids and noodles and sause, and more chickeny vegtable goodness for the adults.

I’ll probably also add some motzeralla eaither as a finishing sprinkle or as part of the sause, or both, and cut doenthe flour in the sause.

That is all with cookig with Bill the Annoying.

Trying to post a remote picture

Well Orliyah (Or+Lee+Ah) {Not to be confused with Olya my wife} sent some pictures of our trip to the Milwaukee Zoo, I will now try and post one for your amusement.

Talking

Both Sergey and Damien are talking more.

One of the cutest is when Sergey is looking for Damien, he starts to call out “Damien, where are you”.

Damien also likes to use my parental “What’s going on here?” when he walks into a room.

Makes me want to start speaking with a pritish accent and saying “Right! What’s all this then?”, ala Monty Python.

Even Damien’s teachers say that he is hitting less and talking more, which is good, I would hate for him to stop hitting, but all good things must come to an end.

Damien is into reading books aloud to himself, though I think he is just remembering what we say based on ques he gets from the pictures. So I should probably stop making up much more interesting sub stories and inserting them just to amuse myself, or soon Damien will be repeating those.

Sergey really likes Goodnight Moon, so much so that he will often request it twice, once in the original size and again in the larger “Lap Addition” size (so named because once you open it there is no longer room on your lap for children).

as for singing, Damien can sing Humpty Dumpty, and most of Spiderman, Sergey is getting good at A B C’s.

Damien has started saying “No thankyou Papa”, which is probably my Mom’s doing, with the “no thankyou helping”.

Last night when puting them to bed, Sergey asked for “Ice water” as a delying tactic, while Damien told Sergey “Time to sleep Sergey”, “Get in the bed and go to sleep”, “It’s night night time, time to sleep Sergey”. As a father, “I approve this message”.
